The Hexagon Group of Companies started as a single entity line in Bacolod City in 1947 engaged in the hardware and construction business. Diversification to other business fields included logging, sawmill, sawn lumber export, ice plant, hotel, cinema and sugar trading.
In 1974, the first Metro Manila based enterprise was established whose main line was construction and industrial steel. At the same time, the Agro-Aqua business operation started. In a span of one decade, the company expanded and diversified into other businesses such as car parts and accessories, pumps and water systems. Industrial electrical controls and equipment, and pharmaceutical raw materials.
In 1992, all businesses were consolidated with the formation of the Hexagon Group of Companies.
